The new 'Black Lives Matter Wall' will be in Washington D.C. and will be a virtual clone of the already existing Black Wall Memorial honoring veterans of the Vietnam War.
"On every front there are clear answers out there",Obama said in a Friday news conference," that can make this country stronger, but we're going to break through the fear and the frustration Black people are feeling.I believe this new memorial will honor the victims of racist Police murderers."
BLM activist applauded the move and some have suggested the wall be added or places near to the Vietnam Memorial that it will be modeled after.
The Rev.Al Sharpton believes the back wall to be appropriate since most victims of Police violence are black.
"Ever since I showed the inherent racism in this country by exposing the Tawana Brawley incident I have wanted a black wall with black people's names on it.",Sharpton said,"I never could figure out why they built a black wall to honor a bunch of White baby boomers who were too stoned on heroin to win a war,but completely ignored the civil rights movement."
The Executive Order does not specify the cost of the wall but it is estimated that it will run into the billions.Construction on the Memorial is sceduled to commence just after the National Elections in November.
